The Energy Division covers five strategic business fields: energy resource exploration and production, LNG projects (in Qatar, Equatorial Guinea and Peru), trading, marketing and nuclear fuels.
Marubeni has oil and gas interests in the North Sea as well as in the Gulf of Mexico, the Indian Ocean and offshore Qatar.
In order to strengthen its trading operations for crude oil and other petroleum products, Marubeni has established a subsidiary in London to complement its existing network covering Japan, the United States and Singapore.
